Pinhead – Hellraiser
I’ve made a concerted effort to eschew as many of the obvious choices as I could. That’s why I’ve ignored admittedly great picks like Michael, Jason, Leatherface, Chucky, Ghostface, the Predator, etc. in favor of characters that are on their way to becoming icons of the genre, or at least have the potential to do so.
Now I’m going to go ahead and end this with an obvious choice.
Pinhead would fit brilliantly as a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat X. He revels in agony and he has all sorts of neat toys which he can summon at will from his very own corner of hell. He’s like Scorpion, only paler, scarier and more sociable.
Welcoming this guy into the world of Mortal Kombat, where everyone knows how to fight and it’s okay to spell words like ‘combat’ with a ‘k’, even when it’s not pertaining to the title of the game. That’s a world Pinhead could conq- er, sorry, *kould konquer*.
