Doll Woman – Condemned 2: Bloodshot
There aren’t a lot of horror games that could match Mortal Kombat in terms of how many punches get thrown, with the exception of Condemned. Brutal melee combat is as crucial to the Condemned experience as the overwhelming feeling that the mannequin you saw a few rooms back has been slowly creeping up on you ever since you turned your back on it.
Serial Killer X and even Ethan himself would be solid representatives of the Condemned series, but they’ve already been sufficiently enjoyed. The underappreciated Doll Woman from Condemned 2 was just as memorable to me, yet no one talks about her or the giant lollipop saw she uses as a weapon. Let’s right that wrong, people!
Piggsy – Manhunt
As we previously established with the Pigmen from Amnesia, mixing man and pig is more or less guaranteed to result in something horrifying. This was true for Manhunt, which also added a penchant for chainsaws. If that’s not reason enough to let this psychopath have a bit of fun in Mortal Kombat, I don’t know what is.
Congrats, you’ve made it to the end of part one. To experience part two, just eject Bloody Disgusting from your music player, flip it over, and re-insert. Or wait until I post the second half tomorrow.
