7. Pieter Brugel the Elder – The Triumph of Death
A post apocalyptic nightmare of carnage from the middle ages by an absolutely brilliant artist, who was referenced by Tarkovsky, (my favorite filmmaker) as well. There’s so much going on here you really have to look closely to take it all in.
