Netflix is adding all sorts of great genre films this month, but one just landed that surprised us all.
You can now trick your brother/sister, niece/nephew or significant other into watching William Friedkin’s The Exorcist, which remains the scariest movie ever made after 43 years.
The film follows a teenage girl (Linda Blair) who is possessed by a mysterious entity. Her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her daughter.

But there’s even more that secretly was added, including Valeri Milev’s Re-Kill (read our review), which takes place five years after a zombie apocalypse, a team of soldiers discovers that the monsters they thought were destroyed are back to finish off the survivors. It stars Roger Cross, Scott Adkins, Daniella Alonso and Bruce Payne.
Lastly, Tim Burton’s 2005 stop-motion animated Corpse Bride, co-directed by Mike Johnson, can be streamed. Featuring Johnny Depp and Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Emily Watson, “When a shy groom practices his wedding vows in the inadvertent presence of a deceased young woman, she rises from the grave assuming he has married her.”
