It’s like Halloween and Christmas had beautiful babies!
In their defense, Hallmark has put out some pretty awesome holiday ornaments. In addition to recent ones based on Jaws and Predator, Hallmark is this holiday season releasing an Ellen Ripley (in Power Loader) ornament in tribute to Aliens, so we have to give them credit for embracing horror in recent years.
Of course, it’s impossible to not want more. Wouldn’t it be great if Hallmark delved even deeper into the horror genre, releasing ornaments based on films like Trick ‘r Treat, Candyman and Killer Klowns from Outer Space?!
That thought was the inspiration for the latest project from Newt Clements, the Photoshop artist behind the Horror Movie Happy Meals and Horror Movie Pop Tarts we’ve covered in the past. Granted, all Newt has really done here is take existing toys (mostly from NECA) and Photoshop them into Hallmark packaging, but the effort makes us smile nonetheless.
