We just learned last night that Kathy Bates will NOT be back for this year’s “American Horror Story: Cult,” but today comes a bit of news that should soften the blow for longtime fans of the FX series.
Ryan Murphy just revealed that Emma Roberts has joined the “Cult” cast! He shared a photo of Roberts on set, where she’s holding a big ass knife.
Roberts played Madison Montgomery in “Coven” and Maggie Esmerelda in “Freak Show.”
The 11-episode Season 7 will arrive September 5, but you can join the cult now. In doing so, you can unlock several new teasers that have been compiled on this YouTube page.
Evan Peters will be playing a character named Kai, while Sarah Paulson will also return as new character Ally. The two characters will have “a love story for the ages.”
The cast also includes Frances Conroy, Lena Dunham, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Alison Pill, Colton Haynes, Mare Winningham and Leslie Grossman.
