If Days Gone or World War Z haven’t sated your zombie cravings, then perhaps TALLBOYS and tinyBuild’s upcoming multiplayer zombie shooter Pandemic Express – Zombie Escape is more to your taste.
As you’ll see from the gameplay trailer below, Pandemic Express changes things up when it comes to gameplay. It starts with a group of 30 players, who must make their way to a waiting train in order to escape a zombie uprising. The twist is that one of them is already infected, and their job is to “share the love”.
As a human, you’ll have to scrounge for gear, work with other non-infected to make it out alive, as well as blast some zombies. As a zombie, your job is to hunt and infect everyone. Plus, you’ll be respawning after each time you die, so no free rides once you’re dead (again).
An added bonus for those infected: Zombies have special abilities that will help them on their hunt. They can mark human players to make them visible to other zombies, and can throw each other around for increased mobility.
The game is set to hit Early Access on May 2nd, so head on over to the game’s Steam page to get in on the fun.
