With Saber Interactive’s World War Z being the hit that it is, fans probably want to know just when the next content for the game will be out. Saber Interactive have done just that, putting out a roadmap for their Season One free content.

The first of the free updates hits this month, with a new Tokyo mission and a new type of zombie that “spits a deadly virus and can resurrect if not properly dispatched”. Following that, June will see the introduction of the Extreme Difficulty level that brings with it a unique reward, as well as “bonus cosmetics and more”. Finally, for July, players will be getting a Weekly Challenge mode, alongside additional cosmetics, weapon variants, and other goodies.

According to the announcement, there’s still more free updates to come, including “a wave-based survival mode, private lobbies, the ability to switch classes during PvPvZ matches, field of view (FOV) and level of detail sliders on PC”.

World War Z is currently out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. And don’t forget to check out our review for the title.
