Two New Music Tracks Allude to Returning Monster in ‘Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’

As reported by Games Talk, registrations for two background music tracks in the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers, and Publishers (JASRAC) database, which is a a Japanese copyright collection society, allude to a returning huntable monster in Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion.

The tracks “Senretsunaru Soukou Zinogre: The Chase” and “Senretsunaru Soukou Zinogre World Version”, are both noted as being from the upcoming game, and claimed by rights holders Tadayoshi Makino and Capcom. The tracks allude to the Fanged Wyvern monster, Zinogre, which was last seen in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate in 2017.

Nothing’s confirmed as of yet, but for those who never got the chance to experience the hunting of Zinogre, here’s your chance. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, and for PC in January 2020.
