Paradox spent many weeks detailing the various vampire clans you can choose from in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Now, they’ve unveiled the first faction in the game, known as the Pioneers.
In the Seattle of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, five major factions — groups of vampires who have united under a single banner — are all vying for control. Each faction has their own history, characteristics, and motivations. It will be up to the player to decide who to join, cross, or pit against each other.
For the Pioneers, they were among the first group of vampires to settle in Seattle and rule. However, they have seen their control slip away over the years, and are increasingly unhappy with the amount of outsiders that have come in and carved out territory.
Led by Lou Grand, the longest-reigning Prince of the area, the faction includes loggers, fishermen, bootleggers, old money families, musicians and artists. Having lost so much in the last twenty years, they have become quite skeptical of the changing world, including any fledgling looking to join.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020.
