‘Bloodborne’ Tops List of PC Streamed Games on PS Now Service

Published

on

While this bit of news probably isn’t going to lead to Sony finally giving Bloodborne fans what they want (at least, not for now), it does show that fans are still very much interested in From Software’s PS4 title, even on PC.

According to PlayStation Blog, Bloodborne is the most-played PS Now game for the period between March 1 and June 1 2021 on PC. For those not in the know, PS Now is Sony’s streaming subscription that allows users to play different PlayStation games on the PS4 and PS5, as well as on the PC.

And while Sony has indicated in the past that they’re looking to bring more of their exclusives to PC, there’s still nothing in terms of what’s to be done about Bloodborne, which has had its share of rumours over the years.

And even with the bevvy of cut content that has been restored over the years, as well as a hack to get the game playing at 60fps, it would seem that Sony and From Software just aren’t interested at this point in giving fans of the game what they want. Perhaps this latest info will change their minds?

Upcoming Narrative Horror Title ‘Still Wakes the Deep’ Getting PS5 Physical Version

Published

on

Physical media fanatics can rejoice when it comes to The Chinese Room and publisher Secret Mode’s upcoming narrative horror game Still Wakes the Deep. Alongside the digital version of the game that’s set to launch on June 18 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series, PlayStation owners will also be able to snag the physical version of Still Wakes the Deep on the same day.

Described as a welcome update for console players “whose greatest fear is the death of physical media,” the Still Wakes the Deep physical edition will be available from online and retail stores in North America and Europe. No word on if the Xbox Series will be getting the same treatment.

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any additional goodies with the physical disc. But, given that this guarantees you’ll have a copy of Still Wakes the Deep that you can pop into your console and play without the need to download it again, that’s a small price to pay.

Still Wakes the Deep takes place in 1975, where disaster has struck the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. You are one of the oil rig workers on the Beira D rig, fighting for his life through a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters. All lines of communication have been severed. All exits are gone. And something has snuck on board, leaving you to not only restore function to the rig, but also deal with the unknowable horror.

And keep an eye out for the upcoming mini documentary on Still Wakes the Deep, which is scheduled to arrive around April 30th.
