One of the most fascinating, eye opening film documentaries ever seen. Once you’re done watching you’ll be desperately trying to track down the forgotten gems discussed and dissected here. These films and the people who made them are downright crazy. Gonzo film making pushed right to it’s best, and in most cases it’s worst. I’m Australian and have never heard of half the stuff presented in this doco. There are so many film clips, interviews with the actors, writers, producers, film critics you name it.This really is a treasure trove of goodness for lovers of trash cinema.
No stone seems to be left unturned as this forgotten industry is exposed. For those who have more mainstream tastes there are interviews with Quentin Tarantino, Jamie Lee Curtis, Stacey Keach, Gregory Harrison and familiar films featured are Mad Max and Razorback.
For anyone with even a mild interest in horror, B grade trash, exploitation and sleazy 70′s sex romps this film is a must see.

Let me first just tell you all I HATE DOCUMENTARIES I NEVER LIKED THEM AND NEVER WILL. Now thats out of the way.

Holy shit. This has to be the greatest documentry I ever laid eyes on. Me as a filmmaker, and writer, and making horrible cheese films with me playing every part, not able to get girls to ever be in my fuckin stupid movies. Had me saying holy shit I want to go out tomorrow fine every one of my friends make the dumbest dumb found movie ever and not even care, because its something I love to do, and if it puts a smile on my face then thats all what matters.

I was smiling through out this whole film. And it left me with the greatest impression ever. I need to track down every one of these films, and watch them. I need too. I might even buy them, something I never do. SO if you love movies, love making movies, and is an all around movie buff do yourself a favor and see this movie.

A really supurb documentary, bringing back those classic 70′s and 80′s cheese that we all loved. I had never heard of any of them before but now I’ll frantically look them up because some of them just looked so much fun to watch. I also found it really interesting how the aussies just throw themselves into it, they’re either brave or stupid! It’s just fascinating for movie buffs!
