Just a few weeks after IFC blew our mind with the We Are What We Are poster, Dark Sky Films had thrown their hat in the ring for best one sheet with their art for Ti West’s The Innkeepers, his latest genre effort premiering at next week’s SXSW Film Festival in Ausitn, Texas.
The gorgeous poster takes a stab at ’80s box art and is something so stunning I could easily see it hanging on my wall (if the movie is any good). Go forth and check out the art for “A ghost story for the minimum wage…”
“After over one hundred years of service, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees –Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy)–are determined to uncover proof of what many believe to be one of New England’s most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.”
West directed The House of the Devil, The Roost, Trigger Man and Cabin Fever 2.
