‘7500’ Writer Sends Himself An Apocalyptic Vision

Just received a tip from an insider who revealed to Bloody that GK Films is in pre-production on a new creepy sci-fi project.

Entitled The Panopticon, the film is said to be in the vein of 12 Monkeys and The Invasion. Craig Rosenberg is attached to direct from his own screenplay in which an average Joe who receives a mysterious videotape from himself telling him the world will end and that he must stop it. As it was explained to us, he was formally held at a mental institution for his claims of aliens infiltrating society – but now he must join his former fellow-patients to reveal the conspiracy and save mankind.

Peter Cornwell was originally attached back in 2009 when Lionsgate was behind the vision.

Rosenberg recently penned 7500 for CBS Films and The Uninvited (the remake of the Korean Tale of Two Sisters) for Paramount back in 2009.
