Leatherface has found his latest target, as Percy Jackson & the Olympians star Alexandra Daddario is in final negotiations to play the female lead in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, says Variety.
As Bloody Disgusting exclusively reported, she will play “Heather”, who along with her friends, travel to Texas in order to collect an inheritance. The spin? What would you do if you found out your cousin was Leatherface, and he was now YOURS? In addition, she will be signed for multiple sequels as Lionsgate hopes to launch a new franchise. She joins previously announced Bill Moseley.
John Luessenhop (Takers) is directing the pic that picks up after Tobe Hooper’s original 1974 horror classic.
