Horror-themed DLC can be such a wonderful thing, especially when it expands on a game that wasn’t of the horror persuasion to begin with. Some of the best DLC I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending a night (or two) with did just that, injecting a little of my favorite genre into non-horror games, like Red Dead Redemption (Undead Nightmare), Infamous (Festival of Blood), and Borderlands (The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned).
As a shameful owner of a backlog of unfinished games, I’ve grown to appreciate games that can be completed in a single sitting. After the break I have five of the best horror expansions from the year that was — read on to vote for your favorite!
