I know for a lot of you, it doesn’t get better than this. Two of the most beloved, and insane, characters from the 90s duking it out. “Deadpool Vs. Carnage” is coming at you in April (though the release below says March) from the creative team of Cullen Bunn and Salva Espin. Check out the preview for issue #1 below. READ MORE
Deadpool is getting married and his bride was revealed yesterday in the pages of “Deadpool: The Gauntlet” #4. This one is weird, even for Deadpool. He tries to shack up with a new character known as Shiklah. The only problem is that his bride to be is already betrothed to the one and only, Dracula… READ MORE
This year’s Marvel wedding has been announced, and who deserves to tie the knot more than Deadpool? Marvel is trying to keep his bride a secret until the wedding, which will go down in “Deadpool” #27.

Cullen Bunn has complete control over Deadpool, and he ups the insanity this April as the Merc with a Mouth takes on Carnage. The series follows Carnage on his rampage across America, and Deadpool is the only one crazy enough to stop him. I admit I’m not the biggest Deadpool fan, but what I do love about the anti-hero, especially when Cullen Bunn write him, is that there are no limits. READ MORE
Deadpool takes on the undead. This sounds unoriginal and I don’t care about Deadpool personally because breaking the fourth wall is getting boring, but I know a lot of people love the Merc with a Mouth. “Night of the Living Deadpool” #1 hits in January from Cullen Bunn and Ramon Rosnas. Take a look at the preview below. READ MORE
In late 2004, Geof Darrow — already a revered artist for his Eisner-winning collaborations with Frank Miller, “Hard Boiled” and “The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot” — debuted “Shaolin Cowboy,” featuring a wandering Shaolin monk engaging in surreal, violent escapades.
Darrow both wrote and illustrated “Shaolin Cowboy,” and won his third Eisner in 2006 for the series. The book ran for seven issues under Burlyman Entertainment (a publishing company founded by filmmakers Andy and Lana Wachowski, who Darrow worked with on the “Matrix” trilogy), but had been absent from stands since 2007 — until the release of “The Shaolin Cowboy Adventure Magazine” from Dark Horse Comics last fall.
Darrow is back at Dark Horse for a new four-issue “Shaolin Cowboy” miniseries starting in October, and CBR News talked to the creator about his latest output, working in the movie industry, what he likes about current comics, his recent Deadpool covers and the uniquely high severed head content in his upcoming books. Not too many comic related characters gone video games come out very well. But I am incredibly excited for the upcoming Deadpool game. It really looks like they’re going about it the right way. It looks like it doesn’t take itself too seriously, especially because Deadpool himself is quite the jokester. It also looks pretty fun and pretty gory. What more could we ask for? A demo, just in case. Check out some awesome and some hilarious new screens past the break.
You’ve got to love Deadpool. He’s such a dick. Not many characters can get away with it as smoothy as he can. I get it Duke Nukem, you’re a pervert. You’re also old and creepy. I get this sinking feeling the Deadpool game could be terrible because we don’t see many awesome Marvel Universe games, but I do have a shred of hope. Maybe I’m just holding on too dearly to my childhood. Check out the gameplay trailer past the break, and lookout for Deadpool this summer on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn, Joe Keating, Kelly Sue Deconick, Mark Waid, Sam Humphries, and Matt Fraction sat on the Marvel panel at ECCC this Sunday to talk about each of their books, upcoming business with Ultron and Thanos, and potential future crossovers. READ MORE
And why wouldn’t he be? Deadpool is one cocky son of a bitch. So he went to Comic-Con and he dicked it up hard. Check out the video below as Deadpool gets the bitches, makes fun of people, and gets a churro. Game voice veteran Nolan North will be voicing him in the official game that will be coming out in 2013 for the Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Marvel announced today at NYCC that in the wake of “Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe”, Cullen Bunn is to return to the Merc with a Mouth alongside Matteo Lolli for a new Deadpool mini-series, “Deadpool Killustrated”. Deadpool will be taking on figures in literary classics such as Moby Dick. READ MORE
The treatment of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine can’t be described as anything but shameful (taking away the mouth of The Merc with a Mouth). But, a video was just released by the ADI team, who did the makeup for Ryan Reynolds in the film. The video shows a particularly creepy animatronic Deadpool head created for the surgery scene of the film. Check it. READ MORE
Cullen Bunn is telling one of the wildest Deadpool tales in years, tearing down the 4th wall like nobodies business. Deadpool no longer gives a f*ck, and he’s going to kill every single hero and villain in the Marvel Universe. This issue, Deadpool’s got the Punisher in his sightline. READ MORE
This alternate universe is so outrageous, and I don’t think its possible not enjoy watching a wise-cracking assassin slaughter all your favourite heroes, villains and anti-heroes. The pace is non-stop go, go, go with a hefty amount of gruesome gore to add to absurdity. Writer Cullen Bunn and artist Daliber Talajić hit the nail on the head with issue #2 of ‘Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe’. READ MORE
The loudest and craziest mouth in the Marvel Universe is killing everyone, no regrets, no remorse, no filters. Deadpool kills all the heroes you love, what more could you ask for? READ MORE
Your friendly neighbourhood assassin kick-starts a new chapter in his life with a blood-gushing slaughter fest that will rewrite the annals of Marvel history in “Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe”. My fellow writers and I here at BD rarely review Marvel books (they don’t offer much horror) but Cullen Bunn’s new book is far too good to let it slip through the cracks! Hilarious scenes of your favourite heroes being killed, and a fast paced first issue makes this one of the most shocking reads in a long time. READ MORE
Rob Liefeld is one of the most infamous comic artist of all time, and we all know it’s not because of his incredible talent. Liefeld took to twitter to share his feelings about the new creative team that will be rebooting Deadpool, consisting of Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore. Liefeld created Deadpool back in the 90s, and perhaps justly, he feels a certain attachement to the anti-hero. But this time, he’s gone a bit far, by calling the new team, “D-list talent”. With the announcement that he will be leaving DC soon, maybe we should let him toot his own horn a bit longer and perhaps we’ll be rid of him. READ MORE
Everyone’s favorite Merc With A Mouth takes a trip into the horror realm for an alternate universe superhero killing spree. There are few lines Deadpool won’t not cross, but in this miniseries, there are no lines at all. He’s on a mission to kill every single person, villain and hero alike, in the Marvel Universe. Written by Cullen Bunn (“Sixth Gun”) with art from Dalibor Talajic, “Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe” drops August 1st. READ MORE
I can not put into words just how awesome and right on the money the press release I received for the newly announced Deadpool game is. It really embodies the doucheyness and “I’m so full of myself” nature of Deadpool himself. So if you head past the break I’ve included the entire thing, where yes Deadpool himself, tells us all about how freakin’ awesome he is. Also past the break you can check out a pretty hilarious awesome trailer where he basically does the same thing.
Deadpool is looking at a 2013 release. What systems is it coming out on? “All”, apparently.
