Not too many comic related characters gone video games come out very well. But I am incredibly excited for the upcoming Deadpool game. It really looks like they’re going about it the right way. It looks like it doesn’t take itself too seriously, especially because Deadpool himself is quite the jokester. It also looks pretty fun and pretty gory. What more could we ask for? A demo, just in case. Check out some awesome and some hilarious new screens past the break.

You’ve got to love Deadpool. He’s such a dick. Not many characters can get away with it as smoothy as he can. I get it Duke Nukem, you’re a pervert. You’re also old and creepy. I get this sinking feeling the Deadpool game could be terrible because we don’t see many awesome Marvel Universe games, but I do have a shred of hope. Maybe I’m just holding on too dearly to my childhood. Check out the gameplay trailer past the break, and lookout for Deadpool this summer on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

And why wouldn’t he be? Deadpool is one cocky son of a bitch. So he went to Comic-Con and he dicked it up hard. Check out the video below as Deadpool gets the bitches, makes fun of people, and gets a churro. Game voice veteran Nolan North will be voicing him in the official game that will be coming out in 2013 for the Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

Marvel announced today at NYCC that in the wake of “Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe”, Cullen Bunn is to return to the Merc with a Mouth alongside Matteo Lolli for a new Deadpool mini-series, “Deadpool Killustrated”. The treatment of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine can’t be described as anything but shameful (taking away the mouth of The Merc with a Mouth). But, a video was just released by the ADI team, who did the makeup for Ryan Reynolds in the film. The video shows a particularly creepy animatronic Deadpool head created for the surgery scene of the film. Check it. READ MORE

This alternate universe is so outrageous, and I don’t think its possible not enjoy watching a wise-cracking assassin slaughter all your favourite heroes, villains and anti-heroes. The pace is non-stop go, go, go with a hefty amount of gruesome gore to add to absurdity. Rob Liefeld is one of the most infamous comic artist of all time, and we all know it’s not because of his incredible talent. Liefeld took to twitter to share his feelings about the new creative team that will be rebooting Deadpool, consisting of Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore. Liefeld created Deadpool back in the 90s, and perhaps justly, he feels a certain attachement to the anti-hero. But this time, he’s gone a bit far, by calling the new team, “D-list talent”. With the announcement that he will be leaving DC soon, maybe we should let him toot his own horn a bit longer and perhaps we’ll be rid of him. READ MORE

I can not put into words just how awesome and right on the money the press release I received for the newly announced Deadpool game is. It really embodies the doucheyness and “I’m so full of myself” nature of Deadpool himself. So if you head past the break I’ve included the entire thing, where yes Deadpool himself, tells us all about how freakin’ awesome he is. Also past the break you can check out a pretty hilarious awesome trailer where he basically does the same thing.

Deadpool is looking at a 2013 release. What systems is it coming out on? “All”, apparently.

Is there any title in the Marvel catalog that Deadpool isn’t in right now? I have to say that this one looks to be pretty epic as Deadpool has to go up against one of the darkest characters in the Marvel-Verse this May when he squares off against The Moon Knight in “VENGEANCE OF THE MOON KNIGHT” issue #8!
