The Dead Space series has always had some kick ass outfits for Isaac. Well let’s just say that Mass Effect 3 and Dead Space 3 have been fooling around behind closed doors. The outcome is the magical N7 Armor for Isaac and Carver in Dead Space 3. How do you get it? Easy. As long as you have yourself a Mass Effect 3 game save, and you purchase yourself some Dead Space 3 and BAM. That easy. Check out the video below to get a look at the suits. February 5th! So close!
If you like sub machine guns and Dead Space, Game Stop is where you want to go to pre order Dead Space 3. It’s easy for me to post my favorite horror games of the year, but I’m more curious about what games YOU guys liked the best. So if you head past the break you can look at my hand clicked selections from last year. Choose your favorite from the list, and then we can crown the winner! I’ve been an avid watcher of the Final Hours Of Tomb Raider video series. Tomb Raider is probably the number 1 game I’m looking forward to, so I’m pretty excited for anything I can watch about it. Well in this latest Final Hours video they show you all about the unexpected multiplayer aspect of the new Tomb Raider. There is an entire team at Eidos Montreal dedicated to the multiplayer so you know it isn’t just a tacked on multiplayer. Check it out past the break!
I shouldn’t be picky about a Walking Dead game. But do I feel like it should look better? Yeah a little. I mean we’re talking about Activision. They’ve got that Call Of Duty money. But technically if they can bank off of Call Of Duty without making those graphics as amazing as say Battlefield, then why can’t they do it with this new Walking Dead Survival Instinct? Head past the break for some screens and game features.
We’ve been hearing rumors about Valve making a Steam Box for a while now. Well it was finally shown off at CES 2013. And it looks incredible. And it is so small you can strap it to the back of your computer screen. The version being made for Valve by Company ‘Xi3′ will be known as the Piston. It’s designed to work on large HDTVs, as well as being created specifically to run Steam and Big Picture Mode seamlessly. The Piston model could cost us around a grand, which is decently priced as it is capable of playing the newest PC games. Some and up spending thousands to get that pleasure. Head past the break to see a video about Xi3′s little powerhouses.
If you read the sexy co-op REVIEW Adam and I did of Deadlight, then you know the game mildly amused us, and then slowly fell off a cliff. Well this fan made film by You Tube user Jason Forge never falls off. Incredibly narrated, just as well as the game with awesome graphics and zombies. Check it out!
The new Tomb Raider is worlds different than its predecessors. Worlds better from the look of it. In this new video series we learn a lot about the game and its new features. Including many RPG elements, upgrading weapons and tools, collecting items and scrap to upgrade them and more. Head past the break to see the Tomb Raider – Guide To Survival Part 1.
The Secret World kicked quite a heavy load of baggage off of its subscribers shoulders. That baggage is the paid subscription. I must admit I was friggen pumped for The Secret World. But once that one month free trial ended, the honeymoon was over. It wasn’t cheap to keep the fun going, so I put the game on hold until I could set aside some time to make paying for the subscription worth while. Well, now I don’t have to worry about it! And neither do you. Buy the game, play FREE FOREVER. They do have a monthly subscription you can still get. With it you get: “10 USD/EUR per month which can be spent in the in-game store, the ‘Time Accelerator’ item that grants double experience gain for one hour each day, a fixed 10% discount to everything in the in-game store, and more.” Check out a video past the break!
Possibly my most anticipated game of 2013 right now is the new Tomb Raider. It consistently impresses me with everything I see. It’s dark, gritty, and real, and that in my opinion is going to rejuvenate the hell out of the series. Head past the break to check out the trailer that was shown last night at the 2012 VGA’s, and don’t forget to pre order Tomb Raider. It comes out March 5th for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Dark Matter takes place on a derelict spaceship that is overrun with aliens and possibly something worse. The game is a side scroller much like many we have seen in recent years on Xbox Live and Steam. This one however allows you to use your mouse while playing to explore even more. It has quite a bit more interactivity in the world than other games like it. Check out the gameplay below to see what I’m talking about. Dark Matter is looking at a 2013 release on the PC. It’s awaiting approval on Steam Greenlight, so if you’re interested head over there and vote.
Dead Pixels you say? No, unfortunately it’s not us. It is however an awesome 8-bit zombie side scroller, previously released on Xbox Live, and now on Steam for download. The game wont break your wallet like most with its 3 dollar price point. What’s truly amazing is that CSR Studios who created the game is only made up of one man. Head past the break for game info and screens.
I friggen love Kickstarter. It helps bring to life many things that otherwise may never see the light of day. One of those things is a game by the name of The Last Door. It’s a pixelated point and click horror adventure you’ll be able to play for free on the PC so long as it gets finished. You can play some teaser game play right now over at TheLastDoor.com to get an idea of what you’re in for. Past the break for more info and a trailer.
The Last Crown: Haunting Of Hallowed Isle is a sequel to The Lost Crown – A Ghost-Hunting Adventure a game I didn’t hear of until now. More than likely because both games are PC only. Though based on the screenshots alone, Haunting Of Hallowed Isle definitely has my attention. The Last Crown follows ghost hunters Nigel Danvers and Lucy Reubans and they unravel the many mysteries of the Island of Hallowed Isle. Head past the break for a bunch of screen shots and even descriptions of each one.
December 7th the 2012 Spike TV VGA’s will be not only celebrating this years amazing games, but with it usually comes a lot of kick ass trailers. Below you can check out a teaser for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. It’s one of those “ugh why are they even giving us a teaser” type of trailers. But I’ll let you guys check it out and maybe it will get you excited for the real one.
Scoring the upcoming Tomb Raider game is the magically talented Jason Graves. He is the mind behind the horrific nightmarish sounds you heard in Dead Space. In the video you van check out past the break Zachary Levi (Chuck) again takes us behind the scenes. He travels to London to (BAFTA) the British Academy of Film and Television Arts headquarters and talks to Jason Graves about his work on Tomb Raider. Graves even shows off an instrument constructed by sculptor Matt McConnell specifically for use in Tomb Raider. Check out the video past the break!
Star Trek is coming in early 2013 to the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 early next year. I’m pretty excited about the game. Ever since recently jumping into the Mass Effect series I’ve gotten an itch for space games. Hopefully Star Trek will scratch it good. The game features the voices of all the main cast from the recent Star Trek reboot. Check out some awesome new screens and art past the break.
Because I’m not the proud owner of a Nintendo DS, I wasn’t able to enjoy the twisted beauty that is Dementium II when it first released back in 2010. Thankfully, it’s coming to the PC and Mac, so I’ll soon get my chance to experience it. Until now, we haven’t had a really good look at the port, which was first teased back in August. It looks delightfully creepy, and I am so into that. Check out the full trailer after the jump.
I’ve been excited for Far Cry 3 since I saw the first trailer. I’m definitely very excited about it. But after seeing this video for the map editor, holy shit am I pumped. There is tons you can do, and while I love forging in Halo sometimes it’s nice to switch it up. Building towns on a beautiful island, building your own death trap animal filled multiplayer maps to murder your friends on? Oh yes. Check out the trailer past the break, and look out for the game releasing November 30th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Out today you can download the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3 for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. Just like all of the other Mass Effect 3 DLC this one is free. This one however adds to the already incredible campaign, as Shepard heads back to Omega to help Aria T’Loak take it back from a dickish Cerberus general. Check out the action packed launch trailer past the break.
In most movies, tv shows, video games, real life situations etc you see a raver. Not someone tripping balls and playing with glowsticks, but some one raving that the end is near, etc etc. Most people just ignore them. Until it’s too late. The trailer you can check out past the break shows how people turn to religion maybe a little too late. Metro: Last Light will be released sometime next year on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Yep! It’s that time of year again. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, which means dutiful consumers are already preparing for the Holiday Shopping Season. If you think you’re exempt from that, think again. Either you know a fellow horror fan (or family member) in need, or you want something for yourself! You can take this as advice for what to buy, or what to ask for.
This third installment is all about games, toys and merch. The stuff you buy for the real horror fans in your life. We’ve got collectibles, clothes, sheets, apps and video games! Many thanks to BD Video Game guru Adam Dodd who shot over a few blurbs with some of his suggestions, he’s credited as “AD”.
Head inside to find that special something for that special someone. Again, I’ve made the images thumbnails so you can scroll more easily through the list – click to make big. READ MORE
There are a lot of multiplayer games out there nowadays. It’s even harder to introduce one into the mix without it failing miserably. Far Cry 3′s multiplayer looks pretty fun, but will it be able to stand up to the likes of Halo and Call Of Duty? I truly doubt it, but it could be fun to play while it lasts. Check out the multiplayer video past the break, and look out for Far Cry 3′s release November 30th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
