The ‘System Shock’ Series Is Coming Soon To GOG.com With Steam To Follow

The System Shock franchise, which comprises two of my all-time favorite horror games, is coming soon to Steam and GOG.com. The report first broke from Flesh Eating Zipper, the only news site — that I’m aware of — with a more disturbing name than ours. The studio that will be breathing new life into the franchise is Night Dive Studios, a developer/publisher that specializes “in finding classic, abandoned and forgotten PC games and bringing them back into the hands of gamers.” System Shock and its sequel are classics that have been long abandoned, though I wouldn’t go so far as to call them forgotten. I’ll never forget it. I love it far too much.
