New ‘DreadOut’ Trailer Has a Lovely Singing Voice

The talented folks behind the Indonesian supernatural horror game DreadOut have released a new teaser trailer for the game that’s both aurally pleasing and unrelenting in its creepiness. It features singer Risa Sarasvati as the voice of the ‘Mysterious Lady in Red’, who manages to make this trailer deeply unsettling despite the fact that there’s nary a ghost in sight.

DreadOut releases on PC in May.

In related news, there was a new Fatal Frame announced for the Wii U. Still no word yet on whether it will see a release outside of Japan.

That is very haunting. I’m glad even if we (U.S.) don’t get Fatal Frame, that DreadOut will be there to fill my camera and ghost fixation.

My thoughts exactly. I’d love to see Fatal Frame release in the US again (even though I don’t own a Wii U), but if it doesn’t, DreadOut should do a fine job of scratching that itch.

Hopefully this game delivers on gameplay and scares. It has potential.
