The Judas Cradle
No, not another baby possession movie. Instead we get something that would put a lot of torture methods to shame. The Judas Cradle was used on so-called heretics to force flimsy confessions from them.
The unfortunate soul would be hoisted up by their waist via a metal belt and lowered onto a giant wooden pyramid. The idea was to position the pointy end to put pressure against the anus/vagina/scrotum until they confessed and/or were dropped onto it completely and impaled. I imagine this would be used as a dual trap in movie form with one person being sat atop of the cradle and another person in charge of keeping them suspended in air.
