If you haven’t seen this J-horror flick, you don’t know what you’re missing. It has this incredibly depressive atmosphere about it, which makes the horror more melancholic and forlorn in nature. But if you think that takes away from this oppressive sense of dread, you’re entirely mistaken. I remember the first time I watched this and how frightened I was for hours afterwards. I definitely did not sleep well that night.
