5. ‘Godzilla‘ – 1954 – Dir. Ishiro Honda
Godzilla is awesome, you all know that. It’s the granddaddy of all monster movies and this is the best way to enjoy it. The film is over sixty years old and it looks terrific thanks to Criterion’s wonderful restoration. This release includes both the original Japanese release and the American edit. The real kicker for me though is that the packaging includes a pop up Godzilla!
