Tremors (1990) – Old Fred’s Head in the Ground
Like many of the other movies on this list, Tremors is more a comedy with horror elements, but the moment when Valentine (Kevin Bacon) pulls a hat off the ground, only to find the head of Old Fred is one for the books. It’s grotesque, and Fred’s terrified expression is truly haunting.
