Exeter

Announced way back in 2011 (when it was called Backmask), Exeter has had a long and trying road to release. Directed by Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th), the film follows a group of students who decide to have a party at an abandoned mental institution. Needless to say, mayhem ensues. Exeter plays like a cross between Session 9 and Evil Dead, but a lot more dumb. I mean that as a compliment. Exeter isn’t a very smart film, but it’s a lot of fun and has some fantastic kills. Just try to forget the fact that all the characters are assholes.
