Pontypool

The zombie sub-genre has been done to death. Very rarely do we find a fresh take on the monsters in a zombie film (or series, for that matter), which is why it’s all the more puzzling that Pontypool didn’t get more recognition. The film follows a group of people locked up in a radio station during a zombie outbreak. The catch? The virus spreads through speech, not bites. It’s a clever twist on the sub-genre and deserves more recognition than it got.
