Housebound

One of my favorite films from last year is still available for streaming on Netflix! Housebound is a horror comedy from New Zealand that follows Kylie (Morgana O’Reilly) as she is forced to stay with her estranged parents after being put on house arrest for attempting to steal an ATM. Once there, spooky things start happening (toys moving around the house, disembodied hands grabbing ankles, the usual) and Kylie and her parents go on a ghost hunt. The film takes one or two surprising turns and manages to be highly entertaining for its entire 106 minutes. If you haven’t seen this one, check it out now!
