A Feast for Cannibals – The Green Inferno
Jonah’s (Aaron Burns) death happens at the midway point of Eli Roth’s latest gore-fest, and unfortunately it’s when the film peaks. For a film about a tribe of cannibals, it’s really not that gory. Roth is never able to match Jonah’s death in terms of sheer grotesquerie later in the film, which is disappointing. That being said, this scene is fairly intense, and is one of the more hard-to-watch scenes of the year.
