Frozen (2010)
There’s nothing really extravagant about the ending of Frozen, Adam Green’s best film (I’m not even kidding), it’s just that you feel such a relief for Parker (an outstanding Emma Bell) once she finally makes it to safety. After getting stuck on a ski lift, watching her boyfriend (Kevin Zegers) get eaten by wolves, getting frostbite on her face, getting her hand frozen to the metal safety bar of the ski lift, falling off said ski life and coming across he half-eaten corpse of her other fried (Shawn Ashmore), you so badly want her to survive. Thank God she does, and she lives to tell the tale on the news as well, thanks to the Easter Egg in Green’s next film Hatchet 2.
