Okay, so maybe the part where Carrie brings the house down on her and her mother isn’t completely satisfying, but everything about that prom sequence is just glorious. If you were ever bullied or tormented in high school (middle school was the worst for me), then you most likely got some form of catharsis while watching the prom scene in and of the three(!) versions of Carrie. I’m not saying I would ever go on a murder spree if I had had telekinesis in high school, but it sure was fun watching all of those assholes get butchered.
