The Cabin in the Woods
For some viewers, The Cabin in the Woods loses them by the time Dana (Kristen Connolly) and Marty (Fran Kranz) make it to the Facility. For others, that is the moment that the movie completely won them over. Upon entering the Facility through a Rubik’s Cube-style set of elevators, Dana and Marty purge all of the other elevators and unleash a series of monsters, including zombies, a werewolf, a giant snake, wraiths, a unicorn, and a merman, among others upon the employees of the Facility. If that wasn’t enough, Sigourney Weaver shows up as The Director and battles Fran Kranz, before being killed herself, then a bunch of ancient Gods destroy the world and kill everyone in it.
