Who would have ever thought that Academy Award-winning director Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Wag the Dog) would eventually deliver a truly disturbing found-footage creature feature? Some viewers may be turned off by the film’s eco-friendly preachiness, but it contains enough shocking moments involving the cymothoa exigua parasite to merit a watch. If anything, the film’s pedigree alone is worth a rental.
