Sean Gunn – Kirk Gleason
I like Dean, I like Jess and I like Luke, but I love Sean Gunn’s Kirk! In fact, Kirk is easily my favorite character on the show. Every scene he’s in he absolutely kills and his short film is the highlight of the series as far as I’m concerned. He started as a very small bit player but eventually moved into the opening credits and a fairly large role. He’ll be in all four episodes of the mini-series which is wonderful news!
For those that don’t know, Sean is the younger brother of director James Gunn. And as such he’s appeared in every film James has directed, except for Slither strangely. That leaves Sean with roles in Tromeo and Juliet, Super, Guardians of the Galaxy and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. So Sean Gunn doesn’t have a ton of genre experience, but it runs in his blood. Most of his roles are all extended cameos, but he’s always good.
