6. The Sound Spikes (Saw 3D)

This isn’t one of Jigsaw’s more creative traps, but that doesn’t mean it’s not painful to watch. Nina (Naomi Snieckus) is locked in a chair with a string holding the key to her freedom is threaded down her throat. Also at the end of that string is a fish hook. She must remain silent while her boss Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flannery) pulls the string out. The more sound she makes, the closer four metal spikes move to her neck. Her inevitable death isn’t what makes you cringe, it’s the sound of the hook scraping the lining of her esophagus.
