Bill Moseley’s ‘The Possession Experiment’ Picked Up By Momentum Pictures

Earlier this year, I wrote about The Possession Experiment, which at the time had released a new trailer that I dubbed, “…vicious, gory, and epic.” Since then, there hasn’t been much word on the film, which stars Bill Moseley (House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects) and was directed by Scott Hansen.

Today however, news has broken that Momentum Pictures has picked up the rights to the film, according to Variety.

A student who has always been drawn to the supernatural decides to explore the dark world of exorcisms as a topic for his final world theology class project. Teamed with three classmates, the group investigates a multiple homicide that they eventually discover was an exorcism gone horribly wrong. The student becomes obsessed with the event, and in a strange turn of events, decides the only way to research this topic is to undergo an exorcism himself.

The Possession Experiment also stars Chris Minor (“Edge”), Jake Brinn (“Glimpse”), Nicky Jasper (“Nocturne”) with KT Fanelli (“Pretty Bad Girls”). It was written by Mary J. Dixon.
