As previously reported here on Bloody Disgusting, Julian Richards (The Last Horror Movie) is gearing up for an adaptation to Brian Harper’s 1992 novel Shiver, a story that follows LAPD homicide detective Sebastian Delgado must track down a serial killer who takes his victim’s heads as trophies and leaves a bizarre calling card in their place. Danielle Harris revealed via Twitter that she’ll be starring, alongside some friends. “So excited to tackle the most challenging role yet. Gonna star in ‘Shiver; opposite John Jarratt and Luke Goss… Haven’t been this terrified reading in a LONG TIME. I’m so ready for this.” Jarrat starred as the villain in Greg McLeon’s Wold Creek, while Goss starred in Guillermo del Toro’s Blade II and Hellboy II.
