Honorable Mention: Stroggification – Quake 4
This isn’t really a horror game, but the scene in Quake 4 where you and a bunch of other folks are strapped to a conveyer belt to join the Strogg collective is worth mentioning here. The worst part isn’t even the forced implants and limb removal your character endures, it’s seeing it happen first to the guy ahead of you that makes this scene especially memorable.
