Alien: Isolation
See what I did there? That’s called professionalism. It’s a tactic I don’t often employ, so I hope you appreciate it when I do.
Alien: Isolation is a strong contender for the scariest game on this list — an impressive feat when among the company of Outlast: Whistleblower and Five Nights at Freddy’s — so if you don’t mind the idea of dying a lot and in truly horrific ways, then this worth giving a look. Alien fans should play this because it gives us the chance to explore a world that’s been painstakingly built to resemble the look and feel of the film.
It’s worth mentioning that Alien: Isolation isn’t a particularly easy game to play, and dying again and again can make it a somewhat frustrating experience. Thankfully, its beautifully realized world and intense pacing make this game as fun to watch as it is to play. Just drag a survival horror veteran or an unsuspecting family member and enjoy the show.
By the way, i you want a real trip, try playing the Nostromo DLC after watching the film. The accuracy in this recreation is nothing short of remarkable.
