4. Leprechaun 4: In Space
I feel like I see this one get a lot of hate online whenever the Leprechaun series is brought up. I like this one. It used to air on UPN all the time when I was growing up (the 90s) and I would watch it every time. I may be in the minority when I say I actually enjoy many “In Space” entries of horror franchises (Friday the 13th, Critters, etc.) but this one is possibly my favorite, if only because it’s so batshit insane. The Leprechaun is in space for no reason trying and wants to marry the princess of fictitious planet in an attempt to become its king. By the end of the film the Leprechaun has emerged out of someone’s penis and the main doctor on the ship has mutated into a scorpion creature. None of it makes any sense but that’s the fun of it. You can’t say it didn’t try something new.
