Priest 3D

The film is an adaptation of a TokyoPop comic book, the story is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.

PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic action thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.

TV: Godric Returns in Fourth Season of ‘True Blood’

Talk about heading into “Heroes” territory. When a character dies, keep them freakin’ dead. Please?

The duration and exact timing of his stint are unknown. “Blood” EP Alan Ball isn’t offering too many clues, except to say that fans will see “a different side of Godric.

He joins previously announced new blood Daniel Buran, Dane DeHaan, Rebecca Wisocky, Janina Gavankar (“The Gates”), Alexandra Breckenridge (“Dirt,” “Life Unexpected”), Vedette Lim (“As the World Turns”), Christina Moore, Neil Hopkins (“Lost”), and Chris Butler (“The Good Wife”). TV: Vampire King to Return to Land of ‘True Blood’?

Pure evil could return to HBO’s “True Blood” as actor Denis O’Hare tells the Hollywood Reporter that he may eventually return to the popular vampire series:

I left them on a high. They have been very, very nice to me, and they tell me that they think I’m going to come back,” he said about the possibility of a return of his character Russell Edgington, the flamboyant vampire king, to the show. “And I’m waiting. We’ll see what happens.

What would the storyline be?

Someone discussed a possible idea with me, which, of course, I can’t tell you,” O’Hare said. “But it’s a very cool idea. It’s not far fetched, but it’s not something that you would see coming.

The writing staff for “True Blood” has become notorious for throwing curve balls ending each episode with an insane OMFG moment. Need an example? How about one and two (or maybe the third below?)

TV: ‘True Blood’ Season 4 Teaser Trailer

It really does blow my mind as to how quick time moves. You blink and your driving, you blink and you can see an R-rated movie by your lonesome, you blink and you’re smoking, you blink and you’re drinking and gambling (why is age tied to bad habits?), you blink and you’re 30, you blink and you’re dead. It feels like the third season of “True Blood” just came to and end and already HBO is pushing this summer’s fourth season premiere. Inside you’ll find a teaser video that unfortunately doesn’t carry any footage. Still, it’s that time already?! Time: SLOW DOWN.
