The Houses October Built
I love the concept of The Houses October Built. It also had a pretty creepy trailer. Unfortunately, the movie itself turned into another disappointing found footage horror film (of which there were many that came out this year). To be honest, I could not tell you who any of the characters were or what there names were. I remember there was a girl and a dancing clown and a baldish corpse girl who screamed, but that’s about it. Ultimately, the most disappointing thing about the film is that the climax is just not very creative. It kind of (well, it does) rip off The Vanishing. I was expecting something a little more bombastic and what I got was just kind of bland.
