5. Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) – The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Poor Sally. Arguably the most fit of the final girls on this list, she spends the majority of her time running, jogging and skipping in Tobe Hooper’s classic slasher film. She had a rough go of it in the film, to put it mildly. She endures mental, physical and emotional torture. Watching her struggle to survive is exhausting and one of the most visceral experiences you can have as an audience member.
