Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)
Sure, it’s a musical, but Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is first and foremost a horror film about a man seeking bloody revenge. As weird as it sounds, it probably has more in common with Crimson Peak than any other film on this list. As with Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd is another effort from director Tim Burton and his muse, Johnny Depp. As is the case with every film on this list, the production design is outstanding, and Burton brings his usual flair to the story.
