Eye For an Eye (1996)
Full disclosure: the 90s were a little scarce in their rape-revenge film offerings, and this is the one I liked the most out of all of them, hence its placement on this list. This Sally Field film sits at a comfortable 8% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s not that bad, and it’s actually kind of fun for a melodrama. The rape scene is actually pretty intense, made more so by the fact that Sally Field (who plays the rape victim’s mother) listens to her daughter be raped and murdered (by Kiefer Sutherland) during a phone call. It all plays out like you would expect, and the payoff isn’t totally satisfying, but you could do a lot worse than to check out Eye For an Eye.
