1.Blood Rage (Arrow, Region Free)
I made 4 best of Blu-ray lists this year. On 3 of them Arrow took the top spot, deservedly so. Blood Rage gets the number one spot for a number reason. This is an incredibly bizarre and fairly obscure slasher from the 80’s. It never even received a proper VHS release and yet here in 2015 it received the ultimately Blu-ray treatment. That’s pretty special and should tell you all you need to know about the current state of physical media. Like most Arrow releases, the Blood Rage is overflowing with special features, including 3 cuts of the film. Next to Pieces, Blood Rage is the ultimate 80’s slasher and this is the ultimate release.
