8. Death Machine (Turbine Media, Region Free)
Death Machine (my review) is a mid-90’s movie that I missed when it first came around. Luckily Turbine Media gave the film a wonderful Blu-ray release this past year and I was able to catch up with and catch up I did! The film marked the directorial debut of Stephen Norrington and someday I hope that he’ll get back to doing stuff similar to this because he definitely has a knack for it.
This release is a 3-disc set that includes the uncut version of film on Blu-ray and DVD as well as a CD of the soundtrack. The soundtrack is really all you get for special features, which is a bit of a bummer. If more special features were included, this would rank much higher. The artwork and the packaging are splendid though. An awesome film in an awesome package, most definitely worth picking up.
