The Relic (January 10, 1997)
The Relic isn’t talked about nearly enough when discussing 90s horror films. It’s a fun, action-packed creature feature that even Roger Ebert liked (he also awarded Anaconda 3.5/4 stars, and that is a rating I 100% approve of)! Based on the 1995 novel Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, The Relic tells the story of a homicide detective and an anthropologist try to destroy a South American lizard-like god, who’s on a people eating rampage in a Chicago museum. If you’ve never seen this one, give it a watch!
