Another James Wan entry on this list (c’mon, that guy puts out gold), 2013’s Insidious: Chapter 2 built upon the mythology laid out in the first film and cranked that shit up to 11. Adding a dash of mystery to the horror, this film really wanted to go all out in creating a backstory for “The Bride in Black”. In my opinion, hooo boy did they deliver! This is a movie where I have just as much fun with it as it creeps me out. Count me in for the fourth entry!
