The Purge (2013)

The home invasion subgenre doesn’t really exist in video games, at least not yet. That could change if the wave of slasher games coming this year manage to take off, and I sincerely hope they do.
I might just have asymmetrical multiplayer on the brain, because that was the first idea that came to my mind for a possible The Purge video game, where one team is tasked with invading a heavily fortified house while the other defends against said invasion. To keep things from growing tedious, there would need to be more than one house.
Just as Halo and Call of Duty have a variety of maps of varying sizes and layouts, The Purge: The Video Game — or whatever — would have numerous house “maps” that could range from your average suburbia home to a multi-story mansion.
