Don’t Blink
First of all, look at this poster:
It’s terrible, and I feel dumb that I didn’t include it on my “Worst Posters of 2014” list. Also, it stars Mena Suvari and Brian Austin Green, of all people! But damn if I didn’t really enjoy this movie. It’s basically a really long episode of The Twilight Zone where a group of friends go to a cabin in the woods and one by one each of them starts to disappear. It’s a very simple concept that is executed fairly well throughout the entirety of the film. It’s not a great film by any means, but I was dreading watching it and came away pleasantly surprised.The lack of explanation at the film’s end may leave some viewers sour, but I didn’t mind it. If you are looking through Netflix one day, this one wouldn’t be a bad option.
